The Fiji Islands, its real estate
and prime tourist locations were beamed into the homes of over
14 million United States television viewers courtesy of the
final two shows of hit reality show, The Bachelorette.
A statement released by Tourism Fiji
said the TV show has firmly established Fiji's reputation as one
of the most desired and romantic places on earth to the US
market

The Bachelorette has proven to be a
continuing ratings success for US TV giant, ABC and is broadcast
during the prime-time slot from 8pm to 10pm, making it the
biggest public relations exercise Tourism Fiji has undertaken to
promote the Fiji Islands, Fiji Real Estate and Fiji tourist
locations to the US market.
"The two two-hour Fiji episodes
reached more than 23 million people with an estimated
advertising value in excess of $US30 million ($F52.63m). More to
the point The Bachelorette provided us with an amazing vehicle
with which to showcase a huge range of very different and
upmarket real estate opportunities and holiday destinations
within Fiji to a discerning audience.

The show will no doubt the
show will play a major role in enhancing our marketing and PR
efforts and help our positioning the Fiji Islands as the top
